The Greensburg District Superintendent Rev. Paul Ritchey has called a Second Special Church Conference under the provisions of Paragraph 248 and Paragraph 2553 of the Book of Discipline of the United Methodist Church on January 22, 2023 at 3:00 PM at the Latrobe UMC. The purpose of this Church Conference will be:
1. To hear a report on the discernment process of the past months.
2. To discuss and vote on disaffiliation from the UMC under the provisions of Paragraph 2553
of The Book of Discipline.
3. To discuss and act on any other matters related to the disaffiliation process and results of
such a vote.

*Time for a Soup-er Sale! Warm up with the Jumonville Committee's annual soup sale on Saturday January 28th 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. That's right! We are selling your freshly made quarts of soup to support our family retreat. You won't want to miss out on this opportunity to fill your belly and your 'frig!! Empty containers for soup will be available at both campuses. Please bring your soup to the Latrobe campus before 10am on Saturday January 28th, so it can be labelled before the sale. Interested in helping that day or want to make soup, just talk with Lorraine Allman or the church office to get connected!

*LUMC Ministries sponsors “Meals on Wheels”: We will be making the lunches for Meals on Wheels, at the church January 30th-February 3rd. *Mission Trips Bulletin Board Update: Our church has a long history of mission service locally and beyond Latrobe. We would like to update the mission bulletin board in Dixon Hall to share memories and upcoming opportunities. *Holy Land Trip in 2024: Carla and Pastor Chris are considering leading another trip to the Holy Land in early 2024. If you have an interest in learning more about the possibility, contact the church office

*Being the Church! A new Bulletin Board is on display outside the church office next to the patio doors. It features a side that displays Services that are needed and provided and a side for Goods needed and provided. Please feel free to post if you have a need or can help out in any way. Please, no professional ads and the church is not a holding place for the exchange of goods, that is up to you to arrange.

*Wednesday Family Nights: Our Wednesday Family Nights will resume on January 4th, 2023. Come on out and enjoy the good food, great fellowship and awesome Worship and Bible Studies. More details in the bulletin or call the church office. (724-537-8141)

**The Greater Latrobe Ministerium is asking for donations of Toothpaste / Toothbrushes for the months of January and February. This ministry helps supplement our local Food Pantry. You may bring your donations to the church office or place in the containers in the back of each sanctuary.
